Spring Equinox - Meditation & Sound Journey (London) - with Jennie Muskett
Sunday, March 22nd at 3.00-5.00pm in Highgate, London.
The Spring Equinox marks a moment of balance — equal light and darkness — a quiet threshold where something begins to stir beneath the surface before it is fully visible. It’s a pause point in the year that invites listening rather than action, presence rather than urgency.
This in-person gathering offers a space to mark that turning together. We’ll meet in the soft afternoon light, with birdsong around us, and begin with a guided meditation. The meditation gently turns attention toward what is awakening now — not what should be happening, but what is quietly asking for care, nourishment, and room to grow. There is nothing to force and nothing to resolve.
From there, musician and composer Jennie Muskett will lead an immersive sound journey, creating an improvised soundscape that mirrors the energy of spring itself: the slow awakening of the earth after winter, vitality beginning to flow again. Sound supports the body to integrate what has been sensed, allowing the experience to settle beyond words.
We’ll close by gently setting intentions — not as goals to chase, but as ways of listening forward into the next chapter.
This is one of a small number of in-person gatherings offered in London, and part of a seasonal arc marking the turning of the year.
